Do we offer the legal advice you need?

The Central London Law Centre provides a free, accessible, client centred legal advice service to people who are resident or who work in Greater London, with priority to be given to those living or working in its the designated catchment area of central London (Covent Garden, China Town, Soho, Fitzrovia, Holborn and the West End) and telephone advice across London where there is no other advice service available.

The following are the areas of law we cover are:

Employment Law
To protect the employment rights of people living or working in the designated catchment area, to enable them to work free of discrimination or harassment thus maximising their employment rights.

To ensure decent, affordable and secure housing for tenants living in the designated catchment area.

Debt
To prevent and reduce poverty by providing clients, living or working in the designated catchment area, who are experiencing multiple debt problems with debt advice, budgeting assistance and education

Immigration Law
To protect the rights and quality of life of refugees/asylum seekers and others whose lives are affected by immigration legislation.

Other Information
The Law Centre recognises that some clients require advice and assistance in a language other than English. Caseworkers will assess clients' language requirements and will make appropriate arrangements.

The Law Centre is able to provide in-house interpreting in the following languages: Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish and French.

Access to advice is always dependent on adviser workload and availability
