We offer legal advice, assistance and representation to people on such things as mortgage and rent arrears, council tax liability and committal hearings, priority and non-priority debts and applications to certain charities .

Our services include:

• Providing specialist debt advice at Paddington Law Centre (every Tuesday 10am to 5pm)
• Assisting in bankruptcy and debt relief order applications
• Advice, assistance and casework
• Training and advocacy

Our debt adviser is a member of the Institute of Money Advisers and an official authorised intermediary (debt relief orders).

The overall aim of the unit is to provide a free, confidential advice service for people with debt problems. 

We aim to assist individuals by providing them with options for dealing with their debt problems thereby allowing them to make informed decisions.
